Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Joyce, I've planted Irises before, but when double checking the name of this one (yes you are correct) I was struck by the vast differences in the species... bearded or beardless not to mention the color variety! Also now my favorite ..Now ;-)
