I actually ducked when this one came rolling across the sky, three bolts rolled across the sky ever closer.

Awesome. I am self taught also but I don't have the time right now for a lot of tutorials. :-( I try and try but I have only two lightening shots. They are really hard to get cool ones. I got one cool one but it is slightly blurred. This is a time lapse, how did you get the lightening so crisp?
